ABOUT EDN

SMALL FARM, BIGGER LOVE.

Small Farms, Bigger Love is our slogan and what we believe. We are a small certified organic mommy-owned farm. We give our farm so much love and because of that we receive so much love in return. We love what we do. But being small isn't easy because Big Farm and Big Pharm are always pushing their weight around. That's why we only work with other small farms like us, who truly put love into all of their hard work. It's for this reason we guarantee our ingredients are the best grown and cared for anywhere. We have developed fair and beneficial  relationships with other small farms that grow ingredients that perform better in other regions and climates. Therefore, when our great customers support our small farm, they are in turn supporting other small family-owned farms.

Edn Farms is a USDA CERTIFIED organic farm, fully registered handler/processor, licensed and inspected in the State of Wisconsin.

EDN FARMS

EDN has 2 meanings. Both are intended to remind us that

sometimes to make things better, we have to return to the

way it was.

EDN, the acronym, represents Ecology Diversity Network. We work with other small farms, developing and sharing best practices to build rich, life-sustaining soil through diversified planting. Monocultures are not natural, anywhere. Life requires diversity; especially soil life. In fact, during the year we grow mixed seed crops that never get harvested. They benefit the soil when they decay, enriching the soil's organic matter and biology. This is how it was designed to be.

EDN, the name, represents trying to get back to the way it was.

Edn is Hebrew, written from left to right, and the original spelling of the garden described in the book of Genesis.

Our Mission

Our Mission is simple: treat others the way we want to be treated and do everything we can to live by example.
